Managing Director
Manolis Karaolis founded KTC in 1982 to sell high quality electrical and mechanical products to government agencies and electrical contractors. A professional Electrical Engineer with a background in contracting he particularly concentrates on the supply of electrical products to the government.
Technical Director
David Smith joined KTC in 1987. Originally trained as an Electronics Engineer he has specialised in the design and installation of Fire and Security Systems and has over thirty years experience. In addition to keeping up to date with the latest electronic innovations he also has a wide experience of gaseous extinguishing systems and is an LPC trained and certified sprinkler engineer.
Installations Manager
Pradeep Kumar joined KTC in 1990 after several years employment in Abu Dhabi. He is very experienced in the installation of both fire detection and extinguishing systems in the Middle East and has completed many prestigious projects in Bahrain. His experience also extends to CCTV and security systems and he is familiar with the complete range of products represented by KTC.
Maintenance Manager
H. D. W. Jayasekara joined KTC in 1989. He has worked in both the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems before taking over the role of Maintenance Manager. He is well qualified to look after electrical and electronic based systems and provides back up to our technicians in the field.
Project Manager
Ramasamy Raja is responsible for the management of large projects. He has a wide experience of fire protection installations and has recently executed the contract to install fire protection systems throughout the Bahrain City centre project.
Fire & Security Sales Manager
Murugesan heads our team of qualified fire and security sales engineers. He is well qualified to advise on all aspects of Fire & Security Systems design and has a great deal of experience in the Middle East with Gaseous Fire Extinguishing and Sprinkler Systems. He has been factory trained to use our hydraulic calculation programs for gaseous systems. He also takes responsibility for the sale of SPP Fire Pumps.
Assistant Fire Sales Manager
Sathish has worked throughout the Middle East and is a very well qualified and experienced fire systems design engineer. He has experience in the design of sprinkler systems to both LPC, NFPA and FM requirements and can carry out full hydraulic designs using our sprinkler design software. He is also well experienced in application of fire detection and control equipment and can advise on the correct method of protection for any particular application.
Security Sales Engineer
Dennis Koshy is a graduate in computer engineering and heads our security division. He has been factory trained by Pelco and is certified by them to work on their major CCTV product lines. He has also been trained in Access Control and Time and Attendance Systems, and will be pleased to advise on the most appropriate systems to meet a customers requirement.
Sales Manager
Sasidharan joined KTC in 1989 and now heads our electrical and mechanical sales division. He has particular expertise in the specification of lighting products and has a thorough knowledge of our product ranges. He also takes specific responsibility for the sales of Federal Transformers, Cable management Systems and Helita lightning protection products.
Sales Engineer
Khaled Makateesh is responsible for the sales of mechanical equipment. He has been factory trained by NuAire in fan application and selection. He is also responsible for the sales of Actionaire dampers, SPP pumps, and Erico fixings.
